The Mouflons found in Central Europe are by far the purest and biggest Mouflons regarding trophy quality that can be found throughout Europe. The mouflon hunting in Austria is widely renowned because of the region's incredible mouflon populations and impressively high trophy quality. Every year, a great number of gold and even record-level mouflon are taken from our different hunting areas. The mouflon ram is admired for its beautifully broad, curling horns and majestic build. The hunting is done in both lowlands and in the mountains Massive thick horns with a wide curl are significant for this sheep species. Mouflon Rams can be found in mountains and lowland areas. We are lucky to have one of the best herds in Europe. Mouflons are also active during the day. We hunt them in both way, by stalking and by observing from blinds or treestand. The herds are mostly into groups of sheep with lambs and young rams divided. Older rams living alone, in couples or even in small herds – depending of season.
